Jesus Gonzales (Deceased July 9, 2014) Veteran of HQ Battery, 1/83rd Artillery 1969. Jesus M. "Jessie" Gonzales, 82, of Fort Stockton, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Fort Stockton. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Stockton. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Stockton with the Rev. Serafin Avenido officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Fort Stockton. Jesus is preceded in death by his wife, Enedina "Nettie" Gonzales. SURVIVORS Sons, Jimmy Gonzales, Jesse Gonzales Jr. and Daniel Gonzales, all of Fort Stockton; sister, Lucy Gonzales of Fort Stockton; brothers, Joe Gonzales, Charlie Gonzales and Ismael Gonzales, all of Fort Stockton; and Ignacio Gonzales formally of Crane; and four grandchildren.
