WASSON, John. (Reg No: L43411, Lt. Col (Rtd) On April 17, 2016 peacefully at his home in Heretaunga.

Loved father and father-in-law of Alex, the late Anita, and Ian and Annette. Loved son of Pam, brother and brother-in- law of Jill and Bill, Roger and Chris and Susan and Allan. Cherished grandfather to Alannah and Arianna and treasured uncle to his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society or the RSA would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Heretaunga on Friday April 22, 2016 at 11am and thereafter interment at Akatarawa cemetery. The rosary will be recited in the above church on Thursday (April 21) at 7.00pm.
