Richard Shannon Demarest

Richard Demarest, the owner of Advocates Resources LLC, was a dedicated advocate for the criminal justice system. In 2015 he was honored by the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar for work that had an exceptional impact on the criminal justice system and those accused of crimes, and for his outstanding service to the criminal justice community. Many Colorado and Federal criminal defendants have benefited from his work to provide their attorneys with evidentiary support to enhance their criminal defense work.

Richard was born in Denver, attended Arvada West High School, and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife Susan, son Bradley Michael Bruneau, granddaughter Barbara Rose Bruneau and stepdaughter Leslie Elder.
