Roger Drapeau (September 3, 1941 to March 6, 2012)

Veteran of HQ Battery 1/83rd Artillery 1966-1967.

Roger E. Drapeau, 70, of Middleboro, died on March 6, 2012 in the Jordan Hospital, Plymouth, following a period of declining health.

He was born on September 3, 1941 in Pawtucket, RI, son of the late Frank and Lucille (Bellows) Drapeau.

A veteran, Mr. Drapeau served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged.

Prior to his retirement, Roger worked as a warehouse manager at D'Angelo's for many years.

He was a member of the 49ers of Bridgewater and the Sportsmen's Gun Club in Middleboro.

Beloved husband of Judy A. (Roque) Drapeau of Middleboro. Devoted father of Jason T. Drapeau of Cranston, RI, Mark E. Drapeau of Bristol, RI and the late Stephen E. Drapeau. Brother of Muriel Farrell of Rockland, Elaine Harrop of Attleboro, Jackie Boutin of Chepachet, RI and the late Gloria. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
