Sheffield Edwards  (Deceased August 1, 2006)

Veteran of "B" Battery 1/83rd Artillery 1968-1969.

Sheffield M. 'Bud' Edwards, Jr., 65, of Plainfield Pike, Foster, passed away at home. He was the husband of Penny Edwards.

He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving 2 bronze stars, a silver star, 7 major battle stars, and a presidential commodation of bravery. Mr. Edwards was an active member of NRA and the Harley Davidson Owners Group.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children Brian Edwards at home, Nancy Costa of NY, and Sheffield Edwards, IV. One grandchild, Shawn Edwards, a sister Sandra Keenan and a niece and nephew.

Service, Friday at 8:30AM from the Winfield and Son's Funeral Home, Route 116, Scituate, with a military committal service at 10:00AM in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours, Thursday 6-8PM.
