Stan Markham (Deceased December 24, 2021)

Veteran of "A" Battery, 1/83rd Artillery 1970-1971.

Stanley Richard Markham (1/4/1951-12/24/2021)

Stanley was born 1/4/1951 in Globe, Arizona.

He passed away after a two year long, brave battle with cancer on 12/24/2021. 

Stan was preceded in death by his father, Jay Lavon Markham and his mother, Betty Edith (nee Childress) Markham.

He is survived by his wife Dianna Kay Markham, daughter Amanda Christine Markham, daughter Jennifer Lynn Markham, and son William Jay Markham.

He is also survived by several grandchildren…Brittany Moss, Damon Malkowski, Heidi Woolverton, Garrett Woolverton, Aubrey Woolverton, and Zoey Woolverton.

Stan is also survived by sister Sharon Pollack and brother Keith Markham along with numerous extended family members.

Stanley Markham was a veteran of the 1/83rd Artillery 1970-1971.

Stanley love flying and earned his pilot’s license.  He was a lifelong learner and was just a thesis paper short of earning his master’s degree.

A small remembrance gathering for Stan’s family and close friends was held at his home in Texas.

Stanley was a force to be reckoned with and will be missed by all who knew him.
