Tony Bina - Deceased 8/19/2024

Veteran of "B" Battery, 1/83rd Artillery 1966-1967

Anton (Tony) Adrian Bina, born on June 28, 1945, passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 79. Tony was a beloved husband, a devoted friend, and a proud veteran, whose life was marked by love, laughter, and a deep sense of adventure.

Tony was married for 37 wonderful years to his best friend and soulmate, Barbara Jean Bina, née Taute. Together they shared a passion for exploring the world, traveling in their trailer to destinations such as Montana, Nebraska, Alaska and Newfoundland. These adventures were filled with cherished moments, as they reconnected with relatives and created new memories.  As Whistling Weavers, Tony and Barbara spent many years weaving and marketing their rugs at street fairs across the country.

He loved cars and trucks, able to identify them by their years. Owning two Model A’s was one of his greatest pleasures. Tony rarely missed watching car races on TV.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, gardening, woodworking, driving, campfires, and classic country music.

A proud veteran, Tony served his country with honor in Vietnam from 1966-1967 as an Army combat soldier of the 1/83rd Artillery. His service was a defining chapter of his life, and he carried the values of duty and loyalty with him throughout his years.

His life was a testament to the love he shared with Barbara, the pride he took in his service, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the memories of those he touched.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, and his sisters Linda Hollingsworth, Virginia Honey, and Loretta Kibby.  All will forever cherish the warmth, laughter, and love he brought into their lives.
