Hall
of Valor Database |
The Hall of Valor is a searchable database of valor award
citations collected by Doug Sterner, a Vietnam veteran and Military Times
contributing editor, and by Military Times staff. All recipients in the database
are verified by source material such as official award citations, narratives
and/or synopses from individuals or records from the National Archives. The Hall
of Valor is an ongoing project. It is a monumental effort to identify the
half-million men and women who received the highest U.S. military awards, in
addition to the millions of others who received other awards.
This unofficial database is the largest and most complete site of
US military award recipients.
